I have several members of our Livermore family that I keep in touch with which includes: Jim and Nanci Livermore from northern Caliifornia as well as Livermore's who live in Texas; My younger sister Nancy Livermore Marsh lives in Navarre, Florida. I am in contact with my deceased aunt Eva Mae Livermore Wilson and her family whom I visited with when I was 16 years old at their summer cottage in Madison, Connecticut. I cherish the memories I had visiting my grandfather Harry Livermore, Sr. and my grandmother Eva Mae Montbriand Livermore. I have enjoyed your websites and hope to order newspapers, etc from The Weston area. I will keep in touch. Sincerely, Marty Livermore.

Hello and I agree with Donna here on this. I am the 9th Great Grandaughter of Jonas Sanderson. During the July 4th Bicentennial we (My counsin and I) unveiled a plaque on Sanderson Hill to his dedication. Are you Donald Youngs daughter?

To whom it may concern,
I am the Granddaughter of Louis Zaniboni who was from Natick MA. who I have been told was killed working on the Weston Aquaduct in the late 1940's along side of a co- worker Pete Nicoli of Framingham who survived. I was wondering if there were any articles or information about this accident in the town records which would give me more insight into my Grandfathers death. My own Father was only 17 at the time of the accident.
i appreciate anything you could share with me.
Thank you for your help.
Sincerely,
Jane Regan

I found this Love Lane article very interesting. I am descendant of Jonas Sanderson, and my father often spoke about him. We know there is a stone marker at the base of Sanderson Hill honoring the guards of the Weston Beacon. We have heard different accounts of Jonas Sanderson: (1) He was the beacon tender during Paul Revere's ride, or (2) he was a beacon tender after Paul Revere's ride and the Revolutionary War, and that the light was never lit. Do you have any further information about him? Many thanks.

You have some of the history of the Lingley properties on Warren Lane wrong. I bought 17 Warren Lane in 1975 from Henry Lingley, who lived next door at 19 Warren Lane. Henry's brother Ted lived at 3 Warren Lane, and was upset that his mother when she died left the family house to Henry instead of him, as 17 Warren Lane (built in 1930) was the house where they all grew up, after moving from Chestnut Street, and 17 Warren Lane consisted of 4.5 acres, most of the back acreage consisting of chicken houses and a junk yard. When my wife and I bought the house in 1975, Henry had maintained the junk yard acerage with his house next door, and sold us just 1 acre, and later another .29 acre. The original sale to us required a variance, as the Town thought that the back acres might be good for affordable housing, if our house was moved back to allow access. They granted the varience when Henry explained that the back acres were too wet for housing.
